Cruelty Free Makeup: Brands that don’t test.

When I fist started transitioning my makeup collection from cruel tested products to cruelty free, I really struggled to find products that were in my budget and didn’t test. But after a while of shopping and researching I now know where to shop. Honestly the fact is, if we buy products tested on animals we are encouraging this cruel practice, how is that ok? How is it ok that 3.87 million animals were tested on in the UK alone in 2014? The simple thing is that it’s not ok and there needs to be a change. If everyone refused to buy cruel products the brands would have no choice but to evolve. Company’s need to evolve into the modern and realise all lives are equal,

I know that a lot of you are starting to take notice and I would like to help you with that and vice versa, if you can help me in anyway me let me know as I am still learning too.

Firstly I will list the British company’s that don’t test on animals, the ones you should support and basically love with all your heart;

1. G.O.S.H –  Pledged to P.E.T.A agreement, cheap.
2. MUA– (Makeup academy)This is actually my favourite brand, they are completely cruelty free and so so cheap.
3. Anastasi Beverly Hills- High end, but fabulous.
4. Kat Von D– PETA certified, high end.
5. ELF- High end.
6. Milani- High end.
7. Wet n’ Wild- High end.
8. Zoeva- High end.
9. Too Faced- High end.
10. Charlotte Tilbury- High end.
11. Cover FX- American brand but can be bought at house of Fraser, mid-range.
12. The Balm- can be bought at Superdrug and ASOS, mid-range.
13. Nude Stixs- can be bought at space NK.
14. Jordana- High end.
15. Pixi- In London, may know it through Aspyn Ovard’s vlogs, mid range.
16. Eco tools- can be bought in boots and Superdrug, mid-range.
17. Original source- do such good shower jells, cheap.
18. By Terry- Space Nk and Harrods, mid-range to expensive.
19. H&M beauty – Only in select stores, cheap.
20. LUSH- Every single product is perfect, mid-range, a good Friday treat.
21. Urban Decay- High end, great eye shadows.
22. The Body Shop- Medium pricing.
23. Smash Box- Medium pricing, in boots and own shops.
24. NYX- medium pricing in most drug stores.
25. OCC- Drugstore Pricing.
26. Barry M- In a boots and superdrug stores cheap.
27. Soap and glory- Found in boots, really cheap but great products and all smell lovely.
28. Makeup Revolution- Have some of my favourite palletes, affordable and found in  Superdrug.
29. GOSH- Once again quie a cheap brand, personally I don’t often use the products.
30. Sleek- They have some really great contour kits, drugstore price in boots.
31. Charles Worthington- Great for all hair types and offer good heat protection products.
32. Lottie London- Where I buy all of my makeup brushes from, cheap and long lasting.
33. Becca- Popular with my cf friends, but have never used.
34. Charlotte Tilbury- High end and great quality. Famous for the mascaras.
35. Babyliss- cruelty free, hair tools
36. Tarte- Makeup and skincare is not tested on animals.
37. Balm Balm- organic British skin care.
38. Cult Cosmetics- can order easily online.
39. Lulu Blossom- 100% vegan.
40. Becca- sold at cult beauty.
41. Colour Pop- PETA approved, great ight hearted brand.
42. Sigma beauty- Cruelty free makeup
43. Tanya Burr Cosmetics- You tuber makeup range, mainly lip glosses and nail varnishes.
44. Collection-British brand.
45. Yuni Beauty- Natural Body Care, Leaping Bunny certified.

I hope this short list is helpful and you return to it over and over again. Over time as more and more brands see the light I will add to this list so make sure to return. I’m loving writing this series, I’m learning so much.
